Arrival & Dismissal

Children are encouraged to arrive between 7:45 and 8:00, especially those who walk or ride bicycles. It is hoped that all parents will cooperate and will help plan for their children to arrive at this time. There will be no supervision, nor a place for children to stay before 7:20. The school building will not be open before 7:20 for car riders and walkers. ALL car riders should be dropped off in the front of the school in the morning. The back circle will be for bus arrivals only.

Inclement Weather

For information on school closings or delays, listen to your TV, especially Channel 21 (Gaston County Education Channel) or radios.

1 hour delay - school will start at 9am (building open to students at 8:30am)
2 hour delay - school will start at 10am (building open to students at 9:30am)

If you need for your child to go home a different way when school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, please inform your child's teacher of this change.

Please take the following make-up days into consideration when planning vacations during the 2012-13 school year.
