 Welcome Message

I want to welcome you to my classroom web site. I have created this site because we are all partners in the education of our children: teachers, parents, business, and community. In order to operate as partners, it is essential that all concerned know about my classroom: what our children are learning, how they are learning it, and how well we are accomplishing these goals.
In this web site, I will be posting descriptions of our units of study and the various activities and projects that are designed to help students gain this knowledge and master related skills. Please return to this site regularly to learn the latest that is happening on my classroom.

Playing for Change -Imagine

  1. Although the song "Imagine" is musically simple and repetitive, it is considered a powerful song.  Why?  What has made this song popular?
  2. Name three instruments used in this song (remember, an instrument is ANYTHING used to make music). Were the instruments what you would consider traditional or not?
  3. Who was your favorite performer and why?
  4. Several music schools were shown in this video.  Given the opportunity, would you attend a music school? Why or why  not?
  5. Name four of the locations of the musicians featured in this song.
