This year marks my 11th year at McAdenville Elementary School. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Appalachian State University. I am married and have a 5 year old son. My favorite activities outside of school include reading and traveling. I also love technology. I have been a Pinnacle Leader for seven years and and enjoy integrating technology into my daily lessons.

I continue to research my subject area and attend regional and national conferences in order to bring the latest facts, knowledge, and teaching techniques into my classroom so that my students leave with true 21st century education.
