 Important Dates to Remember

June 24-27, 2013  Robotics Summer Camp 9:00-11:30 every day. Please drop off and pick up by cafeteria. Students may want to bring a snack and drink. Call the school with any questions. Come ready to build, program, and drive our team robot.

 

August 27, 2013 FLL releases detailed information about this years Project and Missions.

Theme: NATURE'S FURY: "Prepare. Stay Safe. Rebuild."

Can FIRST LEGO League teams help us master natural disasters? In the 2013 NATURE'S FURY Challenge, over 200,000 childern ages 9 to 16 from over 70 countries will explore the awe-inspiring storms, quakes, waves, and more that we call natural disasters. Teams will discover what can be done when intense natural events meet the places people live, work, and play. Brace yourseld for NATURE"S FURY.

 

FLL challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During NATURE'S FURY teams will build, test, and program an autonmous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS to solve a set of mission in the Robot Game. They will also choose and solve a real world problem in the Project. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under FLL's signautre set of Core Values.

 

Can our robotics team hep us master and recover from natural disasters? Our robotics team will explore the awe-insprining storms, quakes, waves and more that we call natural disasters. Our team will discover what can be done when intense natural events meet the places people live, work, and play. How can robotics and technology help us recover from natural disasters?
